Want to spend a day on the water but don’t have a boat?

The Jersey Shore has dozens of places that rent boats of all sizes to those who prefer to avoid communal cruises and go with their own group.

Pontoons, skiffs, fishing charters, party boats and more can be rented for a day or just a few hours. There are too many boat rental companies to list them all, but here are a few to point you in the right direction.

Miss Chris Peach, Wildwood

Ocean City Fishing Rentals, Ocean City

Pontoons available for fishing or cruising. All pontoons are 24 feet long and can accommodate up to 12 people. All have a center console player, sofa seats and a canopy roof.

Pirates Cove Marina, Ocean City
