To fish in the game, you must first acquire the Fletch Fishing License for 250 license points. Once you’ve done that, you can go to John’s store and buy him a fishing rod for 1,260 Dinks. After getting the fishing rod, head to any body of water and cast your line with the left mouse button, then release to cast. The longer you hold down the left mouse button, the further you will throw.
When fishing you will want to keep an eye on your bobber. When a fish is near it, it first nibbles it, then bites the bait. When your bobber goes underwater, that’s when you’ll want to bring in your fish. This is where the tricky part of fishing comes in because the fish won’t come in easily.
The fish will struggle and if you try to reel it in while it is doing so, your line will inevitably get damaged and break. Although the fish will move away from you during the threshing, you will have to let it be, so as not to break your line and lose the fish. Now, how do you know when the fish is struggling? A fish gets rid when it splashes. So don’t wind up when you see them splashing. When they are not splashing, you can safely bring them back. After a little patience, you will catch the fish.
